The Beatles

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960, and one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed acts in the history of popular music. The group's best-known lineup consisted of John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals). Rooted inskiffle and 1950s rock and roll , the group later worked in many genres ranging from top ballads psychedelic rock, often incorporating classical and other elements in innovative ways. Their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania"; as their songwriting grew in sophistication by the late 1960s, they came to be perceived by many fans and cultural observers as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the era's sociocultural revolutions. -"Wikipedia"

Ray-Ban is a brand of American high end sunglasses
Founded in 1937 by Bausch and Lomb
They were originally made for the United States Army Air Corps
Then in 1999 Bausch and Lomb sold the brand to Italian Luxottica for $640 million
They were first created in 1936, but the idea of Ray Bans came earlier.  After going on a ballon flying trip Lieutenant John A. Macready was complaining about how it bothered him when the sun was shining in his eyes.  He thought that his eyes were going to be permanently damaged from the suns harmful rays.  He contacted Bausch and Lomb because he wanted them to create sunglasses that were going to protect his eyes from the sun but still look attractive. The first prototype was patented on May 7, 1937.  This prototype was known as the Anti-Glare, it had a ver light frame weighing only 150 grams.  They had green lenses that were made out of mineral glass that was meant to filter out infrared and ultraviolet rays, and the frames were made of gold plated metal.  Ray-Ban Aviators became a popular style when General Douglas MacArthur landed on the beach in the Philippines during World War I where many pictures were taken.

SPERRY TOP-SIDER

In 1935 Paul Sperry designed the original brand of boat shoes and called them Sperry Top-Siders.
Paul was an avid boater who hated the risk of sliding across the deck.
To solve this problem he wanted to design a shoe that would let him boat freely without the risk of falling.
He was watching his cocker spaniel, Prince run across the dock one day and that inspired the design of the Top-Siders.
He made the upper part of the shoe out of leather and the bottom rubber. The bottom of them had cut outs that almost resembled the bottom of his dogs foot.

CONVERSE

February 1908
Marquis Mills Converse opened the first converse rubber shoe company in Malden Massachusetts.
By 1910 the company was making 4,000 shoes a day.
In 1915 the company started manufacturing shoes for tennis.
1917, the converse introduced the All-Star basketball shoe.
1921 Charles "Chuck" Taylor walked into a converse store and complained that he had sore feet. Converse then gave him a job as a salesman and an ambassador
1923 Taylor's signature All-Star stamp was officially added to the shoes.

A Pair of shoes is like a best friend
You need both of them or else you would have one person
and you can't be friends with yourself
and if you only had one shoe then how would you walk
Best are like shoes
You can't have one and not the other
Without both they are just an unmatched pair

An important aspect of the current situation is the strong social reaction against suggestions that the home language of African American children be used in the first steps of learning to read and write.

We encounter waves in every minute of every day. There are light waves which make things visible and sound waves so we can hear. Even solid physical matter is a wave that is vibrating at a certain frequency. If we observe the behavior of waves, we can see how energy changes from one state to another and back again.

Perfection doesn't exist in reality.
Perfection is just perception
Perfection is just something that is made up to have unreal expectations for ones self
Perfection sets us up for defeat
No matter how "perfect" there is no real perfection
